Follow these steps to hide chat sessions visible in your chat history:

-    From the Chat screen, hover over an individual in your chat history

-    Select the three dots to reveal more options for that chat

-    One of the options is Hide.

 -  Your chat history will only be visible if you manually select that user for a new chat through searching for them or from your Speed Dial/Other Contacts.
