MS Bookings | Configuring Services

Once you have created your Bookings calendar, you are ready to start setting up your Bookings page. Please see Microsoft's instructions for defining your service offerings. We recommend making your services generic frequencies, such as 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1-hour time slots. You can get as specific as you want to in this area:

Explanation:

Service Name

What the bookable service will be called

 

Description

This is what appears when a scheduled selects the ‘information’ icon

 

Default location

Location of the meeting place for this service

 

-Add online meeting

You can link a MS teams meeting by toggling this on. When the scheduler books the appointment, a Teams meeting URL will pre-populate in the appointment.

 

Default Duration

The length of time for the service/meeting

 

Buffer time your customers can’t book

A buffer between, before and after appointments

 

Default price 

You can establish a price for the service. We recommend leaving this as ‘Price not set,’ unless you are truly offering a billable service

 

Notes (internal only) 

This is largely for notes to self or notes to other staff that this calendar may be shared with

 

Custom Fields

Here you can create specific fields that you would like the scheduler to complete before being able to book an appointment

 

Reminders and Confirmations

Here is where you can configure customized appointment reminders via email or text message

 

Publishing Options

Where you can make the service visible or unpublished

 

Online scheduling options

This is where you can configure increments as well as minimum and maximum lead times

 

Staff

You can determine whether or not schedulers can choose who they want to meet with (applicable if this is a shared calendar). If this calendar is just for one individual, this setting can be ignored
