Some of your courses may use Cengage textbooks. If you've never signed up for Cengage before, follow these steps.
- Always access Cengage materials from within your course. Usually, a link to the chapter or quiz will automatically direct you to Cengage materials.
- The Cengage website will open. You will select Create Account at the sign-in screen.
- Select Student from the option screen
- Use your my.trine.edu email to create your Cengage account. It will not work to use a non-Trine email account in your courses. Enter all required information. Select the Terms of Use box, and select Next.
- Set a Password when prompted.
- Cengage will send your Trine email an activation email with link.
- Check your Trine email and select the Activate Cengage Account button.
- You will be presented with the Textbook purchasing start screen. Select Continue at the bottom.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your purchasing option and complete your textbook purchase.
- The next time you access links in your courses you will be directed to your Cengage textbook materials. Please continue accessing your textbook through the Moodle course links.
